Gauge Fields

Gauge fields are the hidden structures that govern all interactions—electric, weak, strong, and even (maybe) gravity.

⚙️ My Interpretation

I see them as invisible rules that shift with your perspective, but leave the physics unchanged. Kind of like turning a Rubik’s cube—everything changes, but the rules still apply.

🔑 Concepts

  • Symmetries: Gauge fields arise from demanding symmetry in how we describe particles.
  • U(1), SU(2), SU(3): The mathematical groups underlying the Standard Model forces.
  • Gauge Bosons: Particles like photons, gluons, and W/Z that carry force.
  • Local vs Global Symmetry: Gauge theories demand that symmetries hold locally, not just across the universe.

Fields may be invisible, but their structure defines the entire fabric of interaction.
